We are a husband and wife team based right here in the USA. Like many families, we cherish our time together. But one evening, a celebration turned into a moment of realization. My father—a man who never complained—couldn't join us at the dinner table. The pain of sitting down due to hemorrhoids was simply too unbearable. Seeing him in that much discomfort, standing in the corner while the family ate, was heartbreaking.

 

Not long after, the pain hit even closer to home. After the joy of welcoming our own child, my wife found those precious first months of motherhood overshadowed by the agonizing pain of postpartum hemorrhoids. Trying to care for a newborn while suffering in silence was a struggle no new mother should have to endure.
